Woodmead Halls is a modern, purpose-built conference and events venue in Lyme Regis, a few minutes walk from the town centre and the beach.

Built in 1982 it is a popular venue for weddings, business conferences and seminars, office functions, theatre and music events and is regularly used by local groups and societies.

Wedding Reception

Woodmead is a very popular venue for wedding receptions because of its ease of access for all ages and modern facilities. Caterers love to use our spacious kitchen with sea views and loading/unloading facilities right by the back door.

The halls can easily be decorated to suit any style of wedding, including elegant ceiling drapes. The Main Hall can be used for the wedding breakfast and dancing, with the Small Hall adjoining being a quieter area. The bar opens onto both halls, as does the kitchen.

We are able to recommend other wedding specialists, including caterers, toast masters, photographers and wedding car hire. Our wedding hire fees are the most competitive in the area and we would be happy to meet you on site to discuss your requirements.

Corporate Events and Conferences

Local businesses and colleges enjoy using Woodmead Halls because we are the only conference-style venue within a wide area. The easy parking and unloading facilities are only the start of what we offer. The Main Hall is equipped with modern projection facilities and fast wi-fi. The Small Hall can be used for breakout seminars or coffee breaks, while your caterers can prepare any meals required in our modern kitchen, one of the most well-equipped in the area.

Children’s Parties

The ideal venue for children’s parties. The Woodmead Halls makes an idea venue for children’s parties. For an inclusive fee you can book the halls for a three-hour party. We have full multi-media facilities so you can show a film or cartoon to keep children entertained.
